Sample Volume
Enter a value for the volume of sample in each individual well / tube / vial.
Note:
Once selections for
Sample Holder Type
,
Sample Volume
and
Solvent
have been
made from the drop down lists, an option to
Auto Program
is offered.
Select
Y (Yes)
for the evaporator software to auto programme the remaining run parameters
Auto programmed run parameters are shown in blue but can be manually overwritten, in
which case they revert to being shown in white.
Alternatively, select
N (No)
to continue entering the remaining parameter fields manually.
Note:
If the
Auto Program
function is used with more than one solvent selected, the
evaporator sets run parameters for the higher boiling point solvent. However, it is usually
more efficient to set-up a run for the more volatile solvent and link this to another run (or
runs) for the remaining component(s) of the mixture.
