Firmware Download Menu

At the SRM-6 Maintenance screen, press

and then press

Enter

to access the Firmware

Download submenu, shown below.

Table 3-10

describes the menu selections, with procedures

following the table.

Firmware Download Menu

Display / Selection

Description

Active Firmware Status

Read-only display of revision and status of the stored, zipped Active
firmware.

Standby Firmware Status

Read-only display of revision and status of the stored, zipped Standby
firmware.

Status Display

Invalid -

[

blank] indicates new unit with no stored, zipped firmware

(applies to Standby Status only).

Invalid-Unzip Failed

indicates problem occurred during unzip of

stored, zipped firmware.

Valid - OK

indicates stored firmware is valid and ready for use.

Operating Firmware

Indicates which stored revision of firmware has been unzipped and is
currently operating in the SRM-6.

Download Mode

Read-only display of the unit’s response to an imminent firmware download.
This Enable/Disable setting remains in effect until changed by the user.

[1] Disable All Downloads

Commands the unit to reject any imminent download of firmware.

[2] Enable Downloads and
Store Zipped

Commands the unit to accept an imminent firmware download and then
store it as the zipped, Active firmware.

[3] Enable Downloads, Unzip
and Execute

Commands the unit to accept an imminent firmware download, store it as
Active firmware, unzip it, and then place it into operation as Active.

[CR] Return to Previous Menu Returns to the SRM-6 Maintenance screen.

[0] Return to Main Menu

Returns to the SRM-6 Main Menu.
