Stopped pump alarm

The pump stop indicator
light comes on
1. Check calibration of the thermal relay. Change it if necessary.
2. To reset the alarm, put the key switch or the generator operation
switch to OFF.
The generating set
does not supply load.
The generating set
operates but does not
supply the load.
1. Check if the on/off switch is in the ON position.
2. Check the fuses on the pump feed line.
3. Check the alternator: refer to the relative handbook.
4. Check the injection pump operation.
The generating set
does not produce
voltage although
operating.
The voltmeter gives no
voltage reading.
1. For the BASIC type control boards, check that the voltmetric
switch is in the ON position.
2. Check the voltmeter supply line fuses.
3. Check the voltage on the alternator terminals, if correct check the
connections between the alternator and the control board.
4. Check the voltmeter and replace if necessary.
5. Refer to the alternator handbook.

The generating set
stops due to fault in
battery charger
alternator
If installed, the battery
charger alternator fault
indicator light comes on
1. Check the battery charger alternator. Repair or replace if
necessary.
2. Once the fault has been found and remedied, to reset the alarm by
putting the key switch or the generator operation switch to OFF.
The generating set
does not stop with the
manual control
The generating set
continues to operate even
after having switched it
off.
1. Check if the generator operation switch or the key switch is in the
correct position.
2. Check the stop electrovalve or electromagnet; replace if necessary.
3. Check the wiring.
The generating set
does not stop with the
automatic control (for
automatic control
boards with card)
The generator does not
stop when the CALL
signal is turned off
1. Check that the generating set stops upon pressing the emergency
push button or putting the generator operation switch to the OFF
position.
2. If the generator does not stop, check the stop electrovalve. Replace
if necessary.
3. Check if there is a fault in the voltmetric relay.
