MAINTENANCE

PART REPLACEMENT

Removing The Quick Coupler

Partially curl in the Quick Coupler (link pin lower than
dipper pin).

Retract the quick coupler cylinder.

Stop the engine and exit the machine.

Figure 40

Using a punch, remove the locking clasp roll pin (1)

.

Stop the engine and exit the machine.

Lower the quick coupler to the ground.

Stop the engine, relieve hydraulic pressure and exit the
machine.

Remove machine link pin (1)

from the quick

coupler.

Retract the bucket cylinder and move the machine
linkage away from the quick coupler.

Stop the engine and release any hydraulic pressure in
the system.

Remove the hydraulic hoses from the cylinder.
