9.2 Electrical sequences
When starting the ice machine, with the compressor work-
ing, only the solenoid valve for the water supply is open.
After the time delay T1 of between 1 and 3 minutes, the
water pump and the reamer start, the ice machine is
then in its normal operating confi guration.
If the torque limiter trips, the solenoid valve, the reamer
motor and the water pump stop immediately.
When the torque limiter is reset, the start up procedure is
repeated as when starting.
On stoppage of the machine, the water pump and the
solenoid valve cut out while the reamer continues to
rotate for 3 minutes.
In the case where the system for adding salt comprises a dosing pump, its operation will be slaved to that of the
functioning is dependent on that of the fl uid solenoid valve.
Electrical sequences
Time delay T1 : Time required to fi ll the cylinder with refrigerant before starting production. (15s to180s).
Ice safety detector : Safety blade + Switch (Reset by Manual Electrical Switch).
Time delay T.KA1 : Time required for cleaning the cylinder after stopping the generator. (180s).
Do not install a pump-down on generators F15 and 30.
