COMPONENT SERVICABILITY

 ICE MAKER

To service icemaker it will be necessary to remove
one panel on the side of the ice shelf. It is mounted
to the ice shelf with one screw.
To remove ice maker:
1. Remove ice bin.
2. Remove single screw from ice shelf side panel.
3. Lift up and remove ice shelf from bracket rails on
rear cabinet.
4. Remove two screws from "L" air deflector mounted
to the top of the freezer compartment.
5. Remove a screw from the left and right side of the
icemaker mounting icemaker to the cabinet.
6. Rotate ice maker down and out, unplug auger
motor, and icemaker plug in at rear of cabinet.

 RECESS ASSEMBLY

The ice chute design  is similar to previous models.
The chute funnel inside the freezer door must be
removed first to accomplish removal of the recessed
opening components.

To Remove Ice Chute Ring:
1. With the freezer door open put your hand in the
funnel, and pull toward you until the tab furthest from
you (closest to the door liner) pops loose from the
door tabs.
2. Pull from one side to the others should release
adjacent tabs.
3. Push funnel away from you to release final tab.

To Reinsert  Ice Chute Ring:
1. Tip the funnel towards you and tuck the tab closest
to you under the edge of the liner.
2. Tilt the funnel sideways to gently assemble one of
the side tabs.
3. The opposite side tab will snap into place if you
pull the funnel in the opposite direction and gently
push down. (it may help to slightly rotate the funnel to
position)
4. To seat the last tab, pull the front part of the funnel
toward you and slightly upward if necessary while
pressing in the rear.
NOTE:  Lining the funnel up and pushing down WILL
NOT  WORK, orientation is important, with the
shallow side of the slope belongs at the back, closest
to the freezer door liner.
