The PathSpeed CR SP1001 is operational if the status field
equals ‘READY’, even if status messages of the destination
are shown (e.g. ‘VIPS not ready’).

Insert the cassette containing the image plate into the cassette
slot of the PathSpeed CR SP1001 as shown below.
Make sure to insert the cassette with the hinge [1] at the top and the
locking mechanism [2] at the bottom.
While treating the image plate, the PathSpeed CR SP1001 will dis-
play the following screen:
The PathSpeed CR SP1001:
• converts the information of the latent image to digital data;
• erases the image plate and re-inserts it into the cassette;
• gives the cassette ID data the status ‘erased’;
• returns the cassette;
• transmits the digital image data to an image processing device
(‘destination’).
When the PathSpeed CR SP1001 has treated the cassette, it dis-
plays the operator main screen.
