Reading an image plate

The main function of the PathSpeed CR SP1001 is digitizing
image plates and transmitting digital image data to an image pro-
cessing device.

To read an image plate:

Make sure the cassette has been identified properly via the ID
station.

Check that the PathSpeed CR SP1001 is ready for operation:

•

the PathSpeed CR SP1001 must display the operator main
screen with ‘Ready’ status, e.g.:

•

the status indicator at the top of the PathSpeed CR SP1001 must
be green and be lit constantly.
