Chapter 3 Modify-Level Commands

sessionTimeout

Global Command
This command sets or displays the session inactivity timeout value for the current Command

Line Interface session. Entering the command without the

newTimeout

parameter displays the

current timeout setting.

sessionTimeout Command Format

sessionTimeout <newTimeout>
<newTimeout>

Specifies the new session inactivity timeout value in seconds. It

determines the amount of time the Command Line Interface session can

remain inactive (no keyboard input) before closing the session. The

default value is 600 seconds (10 minutes). Values between 1 and

604,800 (1 week) inclusive are valid.
