General Warnings 

 

Mishandling  of  the  Hydran  M2-X  sensor  (such  as  a 
perforation  or  scratch  on  the  membrane  or  subjecting  the 
sensor to paint or solvent) voids the warranty. 

1.

 

Do  not  remove  the  plastic  cap 

from 

the  sensor’s  threaded  extremity  until  the 

sensor

 

is installed on the valve (see Figure 1-1).  This cap protects the threads and 

the  sensor  from  debris  and  sharp  objects.    If  the  sensor  is  unmounted,  place 
immediately the cap onto its threads.
