Digiplex IV User Manual

Hardware Installation

1034169B / December 2003

CAUTION:

Complete all instruction steps before supplying power to the unit.

Mount the KTD-440 chassis into a 19-inch (48.26 cm) rack.

Mount a KTD-446 power supply near the KTD-440 chassis.

See Figure 4 and perform the following:

Connect all camera cables to their respective BNC video input connectors.

Connect all monitor cables to their respective BNC monitor output connectors.

Remove the terminal strip from the back of the chassis.

While observing polarity, connect the RS422 control cable(s).

Reinstall the terminal strip.
