CYLINDER REPLACEMENT
Cylinder replacement takes place after one of the two cylinders has emptied. It is assumed
that the control lever is pointing to the empty cylinder (note the manometer reading).
The cylinder should be replaced in due time to ensure an uninterrupted supply of gas (if
desired). If necessary use a contact manometer with signal box for early „gas shortage“ sig-
nalling.
1. Switch the change-over switch lever to the side opposite the cylinder which is to be
replaced: if the right-hand cylinder is to be replaced, switch the lever to the left-hand side
and vice versa. The change-over switch lever always points at fi rst to the cylinder
providing the gas supply. Now replace the cylinder.
2. Close the service gas valve and the cylinder valve on the gas cylinder.
3. Release residual pressure via the purging gas valve.
4. Disconnect the connecting spiral from the cylinder valve.
5. Connect up the new service gas cylinder. See Chapter 9.2.2.
6. If necessary, implement self-purging (see Chapter 8.3) on the side where the new cylinder
is located before putting the fi tting back into operation.
7. Open the cylinder and service gas valves.
8. The newly connected cylinder is now ready for use.
SHUT-OFF
Bei kurzzeitiger Unterbrechung der Gasentnahme genügt das Schließen des Brauchgasaus-
gangsventils. Bei längerer Unterbrechung muß das Flaschenventil geschlossen werden.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen immer das Flaschenventil schließen.
Bei Ausbau der kompletten Anlage generell beachten:
Druckregler und Leitungen durch Ableiten des Gases über den Verbraucher entspannen,
Zeiger von Vor- und Hinterdruckmanometer müssen vollständig auf ”O” stehen.
SERVICING AND MALFUNCTIONS
8.1 SERVICING
For reasons of safety, repairs and servicing must only be carried out by the manufacturer or by
a specialist fi rm authorized by the manufacturer, and only using original spare parts.
Observe the special operating instructions for stations with dry fi lters.
A pressure test must be carried out once annually on fl exible hose lines to check for leaks.
The lines must be replaced if necessary.
To ensure perfect function and consistent safety, all components of the fi ttings of a gas supply
system should be checked once annually by the manufacturer. A service contract is recom-
mended for this purpose.

mental safety information in chapter two.
8.2 ALFUNCTIONS
These ressure regulators are extremely reliable. If, however, the outlet pressure should rise
excessively and/or the relief valve triggers, please contact the manufacturer.
