The cervix dilates as the fetal
head moves down the birth
canal. Crowning of the fetal head
can be seen.
External fetal rotation aligns
shoulders with the longitudinal
axis of the vulva.
The fetus is released from
the birthing arm when the
vertical progress bar reaches
the end of the labor graph.
The release button displays
“Releasing…” to indicate that
the fetus is unlocking.
6. After the final push, gently
pull the fetus a few inches in
line with the birthing arm to
disengage the connectors.
7.
Once the fetus is disengaged,
complete the delivery using
standard practices.
