Functional System Check
Before the next step – mating the PRO ACTION shells – this is a good time to do a full
system check. Activate the System Power switch and verify all components operational.
Camera auto boot (DSMC2 and Mini. DSMC requires power-on via the Assign
ABCD control)
Starlite HD5 boot.
Starlite HD5 Smart Corners.
Record Trigger

Iris up/down for DSLR lenses via Assign 1/2 or Assign 1/2/3 controls.
foolcontrol – a note about wireless camera control
A powerful tool for Pro Action is wireless control of
all camera functions. A third party iOS app
foolcontrol ( www.foolcolor.net ) enables such
control – even through the PRO ACTION housing
shell. What you can do with foolcontrol:
Check setup
and system function;
Change any parameters
as needed;
Between dives,
check and change settings.
