Setting Up IP Cameras
In contrast to setting up analog cameras, which just involves wiring up the camera to the appropriate channel
input on the device, there is an extra step required for IP Cameras. After being connected physically to the 4
Port Camera switch available from Gatekeeper Systems, the IP Cameras need to be configured in the system
with the appropriate settings and IP addresses before they will work.
In the G4-508HD4a though, adding a new IP camera to the system can easily be done through the automated
setup options available in the setup menu.
