Possible Reasons
The Easy Solution
After unplugging the
appliance, the LCD dis-
play is still lit.
It will take some
seconds until the LCD
display gets dark.
This is normal. Wait some seconds.
The LCD display shows
“o_Ld”.
To much load on the
scale platform.
Immediately remove all objects from the scale plat-
form.
Do not place more than 2kg (“2000,0g”) on the scale plat-
form, including all vessels, containers and ingredients you use
for weighing.
The scale does not show
any constant readings.
The appliance is not
standing level or wobb-
ling.
For operation, always place the appliance on a stable and
level surface, where it will not tilt or wobble.
The lid of the appliance
is not closed properly.
For weighting, ensure that the lid of the appliance is closed
completely. If required, touch the contact bar to close the lid.
The scale platform is not
installed correctly.
Ensure to screw on the scale platform until a slight resistance
is felt. The scale platform may not wobble (see: ‘Preparing
the Scale for Operation’).
A lot of moisture/sol-
vent is evaporating duri-
ng weighing.
Use appropriate vessels closed properly for weighing warm
and/or highly alcoholic food and any items with high content
of solvents.
Leave hot food cool down before weighing.
Do not immerse the scale platform in any liquids. Always
immediately wipe off spilled liquids. Leave the scale platform
dry naturally for at least 1 day, if any liquids may have got
between the metal top plate and the plastic base of the scale
platform.
The scale sensor is
damaged.
Contact your vendor for examination and repair.
The scale platform is
empty but the scale
does not show zero.
You have entered cali-
bration mode. On the
LCD display “2000,0 g”
flashes.
IMMEDIATELY press the STOP button to cancel the
process. Always observe the instructions given in the
section ‘Calibration’, before using this feature.
The appliance is not
standing level or wobb-
ling.
For operation, always place the appliance on a stable and
level surface, where it will not tilt or wobble.
The TARE function is
active.
Press the TARE button to reset the scale to zero.
