COOKING YOUR FOOD
IMPORTANT -
Do not use any hard or edged objects (e.g. knives or forks) with
the appliance to avoid damage to the surfaces, especially the non-stick coating.
Only use grilling utensils made of wood or heat-resistant plastic.
WARNING
– Do not move the appliance and do not remove any parts of
the appliance, while the appliance is hot. Always leave the appliance cool down
completely, before moving and cleaning the appliance.
IMPORTANT -
You may use only one grilling area or both grilling areas simulta-
neously. When using only one grilling area, the other one gets warm too. During
operation, do not place any foreign objects on the grilling areas. Do not leave
any grilling utensils on the grilling areas.
NOTE
Note: The temperature of the grilling areas may be set from ___°C (___°F) to
___°C (___°F).
1. For preheating, select the desired temperature of the grilling area by turning the
allocated control dial clockwise to the appropriate setting (1-6). The heating
indicator illuminates red during heating.
2. Wait until the heating indicator gets blue, indicating that the set temperature is
reached. Thereafter you may place your food onto the preheated grilling area.
3.
According to your recipe, cook your food to the desired doneness (see: ‘Tips for
Best Results’).
NOTE
During cooking, the appliance controls the temperature of the grilling areas auto-
matically. The alternation of the colour of the heating indicator (red and blue) is a
result of the controlling process. For changing the set temperature of a grilling area,
simply turn the allocated control dial. The colour of the heating indicator changes,
when the new temperature is reached (see: ‘Properties of Your New Table-Top
Grill / Automatic Temperature Control and Heating Indicators’).
