WARNING
– Always place the appliance on a stable and clean surface,
where it is
safe from inadmissible strain
(mechanical or electric shock, heat,
moisture, frost), where it is
out of reach of young children and animals
and where
it can not fall.
Do not place any hard or heavy objects on the appliance
to avo-
id damage. Do not leave the appliance in a vehicle for storage.
Always switch OFF the appliance completely via the control dials (position “0”) and
power switch (position “O”), unplug from the power outlet and allow the appliance
to cool down sufficiently, when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning or
moving the appliance.
Always handle the power cord with care. The power cord may
never
be knotted,
twisted or squeezed. Do not pull or strain the power cord. Do not leave the power
cord hang down. Do not hold the appliance by the power cord or at the console for
moving the appliance. Do not pull the appliance by the handles of the grilling plate.
IMPORTANT -
You should assemble the appliance completely for storing. Do not
use the parts for any purpose not described in this booklet.
1. When the appliance is not in use, always completely switch OFF the appliance
at the control dials and power switch. Then, unplug the appliance and leave
the appliance cool down sufficiently. Clean the appliance (see: ‘Care and Clea-
ning’).
2. Grasp the bottom of the housing at both sides, and place the appliance on a
suitable surface, where it cannot fall, and is
out of reach of young children and
animals.
3. Place the power cord loosely beside the housing.
