Cleaning the Glass Container, Cutting Assembly and Lid
WARNING:
Pay special attention when cleaning the cutting assembly as the
blades are very sharp and may cause severe injury. Do not touch the blades with
your hands.
Tip:
Dried-on residues on glass container, cutting assembly or lid are easily remo-
ved after soaking the affected parts in lukewarm dishwater for 10 minutes before
cleaning.
Tip:
You may clean
glass container, cutting assembly, lid, lid seal and silicone
ring
in an automatic dishwasher. If possible, use the upper rack.
7. Clean the glass container, non-slip silicone ring, lid, and lid seal in warm dish-
water using a soft nylon brush or dishcloth.
8. Hold the blade shaft and pairs of blades only by the plastic parts ensuring not
to touch the blades with your hands. Clean the parts of the cutting assembly via
a soft nylon brush.
9. After cleaning, rinse all parts thoroughly with clear tap water.
10. Dry all parts and leave the parts dry naturally for at least half an hour where they
are out of reach of young children.
Note
It is good advice to assemble the appliance after cleaning (see: ‘Assembling the
Appliance’). This way you avoid injuries due to the blades of the cutting assembly,
and the parts cannot get lost.
