In general, you should avoid leaving any food dry on the parts of the appliance
after processing.
DISASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
1. Always unplug the appliance after processing your food and before cleaning.
2. Remove the motor unit and lid.
3. You may remove the lid seal from the lid for cleaning. For this, carefully pull the
lid seal out of its groove.
WARNING - RISK OF INJURIES:
Do not touch the blades of the cutting
assembly with your fingers to avoid injuries. For disassembling the cutting assembly,
always use the dedicated disassembling tool. Strictly observe the following instructions.
4. Grasp the upper plastic end of the blade shaft and pull the cutting assembly
out of the glass container, ensuring not to touch the blades with your hands. To
remove coarse residues of food, shortly rinse the cutting assembly under running
tap water.
5. If you had used the middle and/or upper pair of blades, you may remove these
pairs of blades for cleaning. Only the lower pair of blades is integrated in the
blade shaft. However, use special care, when handling any part of the cutting
assembly as the blades are very sharp. Place the disassembling tool onto a sta-
ble surface (table or counter). Insert the cutting assembly with the lower pair of
blades into the well of the disassembling tool. Hold the blade shaft tightly at the
upper plastic end. Then grasp the removable pair of blades at the fluted part of
its plastic body and turn it
clockwise to unlock
it. Pull the pair of blades upwards
to remove it from the cutting assembly. If required, repeat this procedure for the
other removable pair of blades.
