3.0.16 ASPIRATOR
The aspirator (Fig. 39) creates a vacuum inside the distributors,
so that the seeds are aspirated onto the holes in the plate. The
tensioning and good condition of the belt are therefore of vital
importance to ensure the good for the good operation of the
aspirator and, hence, the success of the sowing.
The belt is correctly tensioned when it does not yield
under the pressure of a hand.
Belt checking procedure:
-
Remove the protective housing
-
Loosen the 4 screws (1 Fig. 39)
-
Loosen the nut (2 Fig. 39)
-
If worn, replace the belt.
-
Tension the belt by tightening the screws (3 Fig. 39).
-
Comply with the number of rpm recommended for the power
take-off.
-
Tighten the bolts loosened before and close the casing.
Vacuometer
The vacuometer (Fig. 40) a the vacuum measuring device. The
one supplied shows aspiration values ranging from
-0
to
-100
mbar.
The average approximate aspiration values for large seeds are: -
60 to -70 mbar for small seeds: -40 to -50 mbar.
Comply with the number of rpm recommended for the
power take-off.
3.0.17 PREPARING FOR SEEDING
DANGER
Carefully follow the instructions below and perform the
operations in the order they are listed:
