The product may only be used as described in this installation and
User Guide. This warranty is valid only if the User Guide has been followed
and the product is used as described.
Area of use
BALL is a series of robust and compact LED work lamps for professionals
with high demands. The BALL 8/230V work lamp is designed to provide
omni-directional general lighting for an entire working day, without a
230V power supply, on building sites, in workshops or where temporary
lighting is required.
Safety
BALL is approved for use in both wet and dry areas and can be suspended
from the ceiling upside down.
The product is tested and approved according to each product
standard, as well as functionally inspected before delivery. Protection
class: IP54.
Electrical installation
When the work lamp is first used, it should be connected to a 230V socket
and charged for 4 hours (temp. 0°C – 40°C).
This is done by connecting the cord and plug to a wall socket, max.
16A/230V, 50Hz. The lamp ought to be switched off while charging, but
can be switched on. However, this will add another 2–3 hours to the
charging time. A green LED flashes during charging. Once the lamp is fully
charged, the green LED glows steadily.
The battery time during use is 8–9 hours in normal conditions (about
20°C). The rated working temperature for use is -20°C … +50°C. A red
LED indicates that the batteries will soon be fully discharged.
The luminaire should then be charged using the supplied 230V cord/
plug. The luminaire can be used while charging, as can the extension
socket.
Work lamp BALL 8H/230V fitted with 3.0 metre power cord H07RN-F
3G1.5 with plug 230V, and equipped with a 230V extension socket for
powering other equipment when the luminaire is connected to a 230V
power supply.
