Installation
BALL 8H/230V is fitted with a recessed mounting hook and a fitting for an
adjustable strap. In addition, the work lamp is equipped with threaded M8
bushings (x4) for mounting on a stand or the installation of magnetic feet.
For different installation alternatives, please refer to the illustrations below.
When the BALL 8 lamp is daisy chained for general lighting, a height
of about 3 m from the floor with 3 m spacing between each luminaire is
recommended to produce good results. The supplied plastic bag protects
the diffuser (shade) against splashes of mortar and paint and can be used
while working.
NOTE! All work inside the unit’s connection area must be performed by
a qualified electrician and with the power supply disconnected!
Maintenance
The portable BALL work lamp normally requires no maintenance. Regular
cleaning of the exterior and replacing the plastic bag should be performed
as required.

Inspection and service of the LED unit, power cord and sockets must be
performed by a qualified electrician or by GARO.
