Automatic Degaussing Steps
Step 1:
Press POWER button ON.
Step 2:
Wait for the LCD to display “
Insert Media
”.
Step 3:
Insert media through the Media Entrance Door.
Step 4:
Remove degaussed media from Media Slide.
Step 5:
Repeat Steps 2,3 & 4.
The following information appears on the LCD Display from power-up through one automatic
degaussing cycle:

Door Open
Indicates Media Entrance Door is
open – this is normal when
inserting media to be erased.
Erase Cycle
Initiated
Door has closed and the erase
cycle has started.
