ADDITIONAL FEATURES

8.9  FLIGHT DATA LOGGING

The flight data logging feature automatically stores flight and engine data to an SD card (4 GB maximum card

size) inserted into the top card slot of the MFD.  Data is recorded to the SD card every second.  One hour of flight
data requires approximately 2 MB of storage space.  A 2 GB SD card will store over 1,000 hours of flight data.

It is best to use an SD card that contains no other files.  If necessary, reformat the SD card before use as a flight

data logging card.  The data files stored on the SD card have an extension of .csv.  This file format can be opened
using a spread sheet application on a personal computer.

The following is a list of the types of data recorded.  Not all data types are applicable to all aircraft.  For example,

EGT and CHT would not apply to turbine aircraft.
