NOTE 

 

FOR STANDARD TANKS

, when the fuel quantity indicator reads 17 US 

gal the correct fuel quantity must be determined with the fuel quantity  
measuring device.  If this measurement is not carried out, the fuel quantity 
available for flight planning is 17 US gal. 

FOR LONG RANGE TANKS,

 

when the fuel indicator reads 16 US gal 

the correct fuel quantity must be determined with the fuel quantity measuring 
device. There are 3 US gal of ungauged fuel from 16 to 19 US gal. If this 
measurement is not carried out, the fuel quantity available for flight planning is 
16 US gal.
