To avoid the kickback, please follow these safety instructions:
• Never cut with the end of the guide bar!
• Always start the cuts with the chainsaw already on!
• Make sure that the chain is always sharpened correctly.
• Never cross section more than a branch at the same time! When
pruning the branches, be careful not to touch another branch.
TRANSPORT
Before transporting the chainsaw, always unplug it and put the bar
cover on. If several cuts have to be made, the machine should be
disconnected between the cuts.
BEFORE STARTING
The tension and the electric current have to be adequate to that
indicated by the characteristics plate. Before starting to work, always
check that the chainsaw works correctly and it is safe to use. Also
check that the chain brake, the chain lubrication and the oil level are
correct (Fig. 6 and 12). When the oil level is approximately 5 mm from
the bottom mark, you should pour oil. When the oil level is above this
mark, you can work without worrying. Turn the chainsaw on and hold it
over the ground. Do not allow it to touch the ground. For security
reasons, it is better to maintain a minimum separation of 20 cm. If you
see now that oil signs appears, that means that the lubrication system
works correctly. If no oil sings appears, try to clean the oil exit (Fig. 2,
A), the tightened superior orifice of the chain (Fig. 3, B) and the oil pipe,
or contact the technical service. (Make sure to read the point “filling the
chain oil and chain lubrication”). Check the chain tension and the
retention if necessary (look at the point “chain tightening”). Make sure
that the chain brake is working correctly (look at “releasing the chain
brake” point).

The electric chainsaw has to be disconnected.
Important: The chain brake always has to be in a vertical position
(Fig. 6).
