Step 5.
Press BX-15 Tamper Switch once to transmit a learning code. BX-15 LED 1&2&3
lights on and BX-15 starts a 15-sec waiting period to receive the
acknowledgement from KP-18.
Step6.
If KP-18 receives the learning signal, KP-18 screen displays Detected BX-15. Press
OK
key to confirm. The system asks you to select Single Area or Whole System.
Step 7.
Select either Single Area or Whole system and press
OK
key to confirm and send
acknowledgement to BX-15. BX-15 will emit a short beep with LED 1&3 flashing
once to indicate that learning process is successful.

If the learning process fails, please remove BX-15 first and repeat the Steps 3-7.
Step 8
. Slide SW1 on BX-15 to OFF position. BX-15 leaves learning mode.

On the other hand, after Step 7, KP-18 requires you to program the sensor zone

8.5. Learning SR-15 in the Control Panel (Locally)
Step 1.
Loose the security screw on SR-15 and open the top case.
Step 2.
Use a sharp object to slide SW3 & SW4 on the SR-15 DIP switch block to program
your desired alarm period (see operation manual of SR-15).
Step 3.
Put the KP-18 into
Add Devices
mode, the screen will show Push button on device
to add.
Step 4.
Slide SW1 on the SR-15 function switch block to ON position. The SR-15 sounds a
short beep and enters learning mode.
Step 5.
Press SR-15 Tamper Switch once to transmit learning code. The SR-15 sounds
one beep and starts 15-sec waiting period for receiving the acknowledgement
from the KP-18.
Step 6.
If the KP-18 receives the learning signal, the KP-18 screen displays Detected
SR-15. Press
OK
key to confirm. The system asks you to select single area or
whole system.
Step 7.
Select either Single Area or Whole system and press
OK
key to confirm. An
acknowledgement will be sent to SR-15. When the acknowledgment is received,
SR-15 emits two short beeps to indicate that learning process is successful.
