1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1.1 CONFIGURATION
The C5236 Mk2 is a four cylinder, single acting, two stage, 90° vee configuration, water cooled
machine. It has complete primary balance when fitted with aluminium first stage pistons, giving
excellent balance characteristics.
1.2 LUBRICATION
The forced feed system is shown on following page.
The specified lubricant must be used at all times to ensure safe and efficient operation with minimum
wear and maximum protection against moist air corrosion.
Recommendations are the result of extensive research at Gardner Denver Works and all responsibility
for the use of an oil other than that recommended is placed on the purchaser and his oil company.
