Fitting and adjusting the secondary handle
WARNING.
Before each use, ensure the secondary handle
cannot swivel by checking the two handle clamp screws are
tight and the handle is firm.
1. The line trimmer has been pre-packed with the secondary
handle facing in the opposite direction to where it must sit
during use.
2. Rotate the secondary handle by 180°.
3. After locating the handle in the
operational position, tighten the two
handle clamp screws (15) to the point
where the handle is firm on the shaft
4. After the first use, you may find the
handle needs to be adjusted. To move
or rotate the handle, loosen the two
handle clamp screws (15), and rotate or
slide the handle up or down the shaft.
When the desired position is found, re
tighten the two handle clamp screws so
the handle is firm on the shaft.
