Usage

This re-flash is needed when a new ECU is fitted to the vehicle or simply to update the firmware to the

latest version.

Note:

The Clutch and Position or Range Sensor calibrations need to be performed following a re-flash

to the transfer case ECU. Please consult

section 4.6.5

of this user manual for more details.

This modified firmware will allow usage of flappy paddles (or paddle shifts) on Discovery 4s with a

6-speed transmission attached to a TDV6 3.0 L, SDV6 3.0 L or Petrol engine. The associated CCF

setting also needs to be changed.

The transmission clear adaptation routine must be called prior

to re-flashing the ECU. See

section 4.7.7.
