The DP1.2-Vision-Fiber series
KVM extenders of the DP1.2-Vision-Fiber series consist of a computer module and a
user modules.
Connect the computer to be operated as well as an optional console to the computer
module ( DP1.2-Vision-Fiber-CPU ). The remote console is connected to the user mod-
ule ( DP1.2-Vision-Fiber-CON ).
Both the computer module and the user module are connected using two optical
fibres. Signals of keyboard, mouse and DisplayPort™ video of the computer con-
nected are transmitted using these fibres and enable you to operate the computer
remotely.
The computer can either be operated at the remote console of the user module or at
the local console of the computer module.
Available variants
Number of video channels and type of USB support
The DP1.2-Vision-Fiber series provides further variants that additionally enable the
transmission of USB 2.0 signals and the use of several monitors:
UC and CON-2 variants
Two different counterpart stations (either digital extenders of the Vision series or
compatible matrix switches) can be connected to the optionally available UC variants
of the target modules or CON-2 variants of the user modules.
