The control system includes the PC901 microprocessor card, PC950 panel card,
analog-to-digital converter (A/D) PC971 cards, PC973 power supply, current, and
temperature sensors.
2.2 Control Panel
The UPS is equipped with an LCD display and touch pad control panel that enable the
user to effectively manage the UPS. Once the UPS is installed, the control panel
serves as the user’s primary interface with the system. Messages, warnings and error
conditions are relayed to the user through the control panel’s LCD display and
through audible alarms.

2.3 Power-On Self Tests
The UPS automatically performs a series of diagnostic tests when initially powered
on.
2.4 Measurement
The user can receive real-time information regarding the unit’s operation and
condition simply by pressing the appropriate status button. The real-time results are
displayed on the front panel, as shown in Figure 3.
