Verify that the red B/P LED on the UPS front panel is lit and that the
alarm sounds.

Turn ON the OUTPUT circuit breaker.

Turn OFF the MAINTENANCE BYPASS circuit breaker.

Press on the INV button on the UPS front panel display (see Figure 19)
to put the UPS in INVERTER mode.
23.
Verify that the green INV LED on the control panel is lit and that the
alarm turns OFF.
Power to the load is now supplied by the UPS.
5.4 Emergency Power Off (Optional)
Your site may contain an Emergency Power Off (EPO) switch connected to
the UPS. If such a switch is installed and connected to the UPS’s special dry
contacts, you can press this external switch in the event of an emergency to
shut OFF all power from the UPS to the loads.
If the site contains an EPO switch, make sure to verify in advance the exact
location of this switch.
To emergency power OFF:

Press in the special EPO switch.
CAUTION!
Although the loads are shut down, the UPS and
internal batteries are still connected to the mains and
voltage remains on the terminals and internal circuits.
To restart the UPS following Emergency Power Off:

Release the EPO switch. (If the EPO switch remains depressed, the
UPS cannot be started up again).
25.
Press the UPS ON button.
