Galaxy Super Chlor Start Up Kit
Galaxy has engineered our chlorine system to be gentle on skin, soft in smell
and of course, effectively sanitise your water.
Galaxy spa pools utilise a CD ozone system which takes care of 93% of water
sanitisation. Super Chlor tops up the remaining 7% for superior water quality all
year round.
Before Starting
Spa volume.
You will need to know your spa’s volume (number of litres) to use the charts in this guide.
Small deviations in the volume will not affect the water balancing.

First Treatment - Chlorine Shock Dosing
You must shock dose your spa the first time you fill it with water. Shock dosing refers to adding
a higher than normal dose of chlorine to the water. This is extremely important for good long
term water chemistry and ensures surface bacteria is killed before first use.

Instructions:
1.
Remove your cover and headrests to protect the fabric.
2.
Add Super Chlor to a bucket of water and mix to combine.
3.
Add the bucket mix to your spa.
4.
Run the pumps to mix for at least 20 minutes and then replace the cover and headrests.
5.
Wait 24 hours after shock dosing before using your pool.
Shock dosing can also be carried out as part of normal maintenance if you notice your
water is discoloured or not crystal clear.
