[F3] Telex menu

The Telex menu is where you begin all phases of telex communication.

1: Auto Telex ALT+T

2: Call LES

3: Call Station

4: Transmit File

5: Program Telex

6: Confidential Msg

7: Communication Log

8: Change Window

ALT+W

Telex menu

1: Auto Telex:

Automatic telex transmission.

2: Call LES:

Manually connects communication line with LES.

3: Call Station:

Selects a station from the Station List or enters telex
number directly through keyboard.

4: Transmit File:

Selects file to transmit.

5: Program Telex:

Programmed telex.

6: Confidential Msg:

Opens confidential messages.

7: Communication Log: Stores routine received messages, and destination, call

duration, date and time of all transmitted routine
messages. The log holds 25 messages. When the log
is full, the oldest message is deleted to make room for
the latest. You can also print messages from this menu.

8: Change Window:

Switches between editor screen and standby display.
For example, you are editing a message and a
message arrives. The display changes to the
communication display, however if you want to
continue editing the message while receiving, select
this menu item.
