First steps

Charging the battery

The indicator light on the charger indicates the charging status of the spare battery.

Meaning of charger indicator light

The charger is not connected to mains.

The spare battery is not inserted.

red

flashing

The spare battery is defective or is not properly inser-
ted.

lit

The spare battery is being charged. If the radio set is in
the charger, the charging process of the spare battery
starts as soon as the battery in the radio set is fully
charged.

green

lit

The spare battery is fully charged. This indicator is
independent of the charging status of the radio set in
the charging set.
