11-2. Storing the Rack Console
The device can be stored in the rack when the monitor and keyboard are not used.
Slowly slide the Rack Console in and out of the rack.
1. Press the monitor power button to turn off the monitor.
2. Make sure that nothing is connected to the USB port on the front side of the device, and
then hold the handle and slowly close the LCD monitor. Make sure that the LCD monitor
is locked.
3. Push the fixing springs on the right and left sides of the slide rail, and slide the device
back into the rack.
4. Tighten the finger screws on the right and left front ends of the device.
Be careful not to pinch your hands or fingers in the slide rails or Rack
Console itself when you stow the Rack Console.
To save electricity and extend the life of the monitor, when the monitor is not
in use, turn off the power of the monitor or store the Rack Console in the
rack.
Storing this device in the rack automatically turns off the power of the
monitor.
