Service Supplement TX600 S3

 

 

Replacing the LocalView module

Replacement routines

Ê

Press the engagement lock (see (B) in 

figure 10

) on the frame of the 

LocalView module and pull it out with its connection cable.

Installing the LocalView module

Ê

Plug the connection cable (4-pin I

2

C bus cable) onto the LocalView module.

Ê

Thread the connection cable of the LocalView module through the opening 
for mounting the module and connect it to the corresponding connectors on 
the SCSI backplane and the chassis ID module.

Ê

Push the LocalView module into its bay until it engages.

Ê

Reinstall and connect the CD/DVD drive.

This completes the replacement of the LocalView module.
