Replacing the power backplane

The power backplane is located underneath the system board close to the SCSI
backplane.

Requirements

–

The server has been switched off

–

The power cables have been uplugged

–

Rack model only: The server has been pulled out

–

The housing cover has been removed

–

The system board has been removed (see

)

–

The power supply units have been pulled out (see Operating Manual)

Ê

Disconnect the cables that are fixed to the power backplane from the system
board, the SCSI backplane and the accessible drives (see

).

Undo the seven screws (A) of the power backplane and remove it (B).

To install the power backplane perform the above procedure in reverse.
