Drive installation

3.1

Cabling with two devices

The PRIMERGY SX05 S1 supports operation of two devices.

3.1.1

SAS devices

Each device must be connected directly to a dedicated SAS channel that
supports it. (For example, when connecting a tape drive device, be sure to
check that the SAS channel supports tape.) The SAS interface does not support
daisy chaining. See also
