Drive installation

Ê

Remove the drive blank:

1. Pull the spring-loaded button on the right mounting rail up (1).

2. Slide the assembly forward and then lift up (2).

Remove the mounting brackets from the drive blank.

Figure 8: Removing the mounting brackets from the drive blank

Ê

Install the mounting brackets to the sides of the drive. With tape drives,
always use the screws provided with the tape drive.
