Chapter 7 Configuring Hardware and Utilities
7.2.2 Main Menu
The [Main] menu appears when starting BIOS Setup Utility.
This menu is for setting time, date, and drives.

Item Setting Description
System Time Present time The system time is set in "hours:minutes:seconds" format.
The hours should be based on a 24-hour clock.
For example, 6:30:00 P.M. is set as "18", "30", "00".
If a highly precise system time is required, install a network
synchronized time system such as NTP.
System Date Present date The system date is set in "month/day/year" format. For example,
December 25, 2007 is set as "12", "25", "2007".
SATA Port 1 Configures device settings. Press the [Enter] key to display "7.2.3 SATA Port 1
Submenu" (

Boot Features Configures system startup settings. Press the [Enter] key to display "7.2.4 Boot
Features Submenu" (

Base Memory Displays available system memory size less than 1MB.
Extended Memory Displays available memory size larger than 1MB.
