Switching on the server

V

CAUTION!

●

Before switching on the server, make sure the housing cover is 
closed. In order to comply with applicable EMC regulations 
(regulations on electromagnetic compatibility) and satisfy cooling 
requirements, the PRIMERGY RX300 S8 server must not run while 
the housing cover is removed.

●

After connecting all power cords, wait at least 60 seconds before 
pressing the On / Off button.

●

Follow the safety instructions in chapter 

"Important information" on 

page 39

.

Ê

Press the On / Off button to start up the server.

Ê

Perform the required procedures described in the concluding steps of each 
upgrade or maintenance task.
