Installing the fan module

There are available two different kinds of fan modules:

– fan module without detachable cable
– fan module with detachable cable

Follow the appropriate procedure described in the sections

"Fan module

without detachable cable" on page 148

"Fan with detachable cable" on

page 148

Insert the fan module into its slot.

Ensure that the fan module is properly seated in the chassis.

Secure each fan module with four screws.
