• ok printenv configuration-policy
When the degraded unit is set to component basis, the following message appears:
configuration-policy=component
When the degraded unit is set to system board basis, the following message
appears:
configuration-policy=board
When the degraded unit is set to stop the boot-up process without degradation, the
folloiwing message appears:
configuration-policy=system
• To set the configuration-policy value, enter one of the following commands:
To set the degraded unit on a component basis
ok setenv configuration-policy component
To set the degraded unit on a system board basis
ok setenv configuration-policy board
To set the system to stop the boot-up process without degradation when an
abnormal unit is detected
ok setenv configuration-policy system
A.2 Other OBP Environment Variables
This section explains other initial settings for the boot-up environment.
(1) boot-wait-time

If a boot-wait-time is set, the time used for the boot-up and initialization process
for the entire system including the power-on process and the reboot of the
operating system is increased by the specified amount of time.
If the system contains a peripheral device that spends a long period of time going
through power-on diagnosis or in initial setting during boot-up, then such a peripheral
device cannot be enabled within the required time. The system boot-up process or
initialize process may not proceed normally. This situation can be prevented by
setting a specific amount of time to wait, using an OBP environment variable, boot-
wait-time. If this variable is set, other components can wait for the peripheral device
to be enabled during the boot-up process, and the initialize process can proceed
normally.
