CAS Reassignment

When logical libraries are configured, the mounted CAS (CAS#0/#1) can be used as an insertion/ejection slot
from the host by assigning the CAS to the logical library in operation. For use from the operator panel, the CAS
assignment must also be changed.

Procedure

1

In the Operation menu, click the [CAS Assignment] button.

A confirmation window is displayed.
Click the [OK] button if it is OK to proceed.

3

When the end message appears, the CAS assignment is complete.

End of procedure

If the CAS has already been assigned to a logical library that is in operation, no operation is required
and therefore, this setting is disabled.
