3.12 Operating the Library

FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS LT270 S2 Tape Library User’s Guide -Panel Operation-

P3AM-6932-06ENZ0

149

Hardware errors of a drive in each cabinet are released individually. Use the drop-down list
to select the target cabinet.

A confirmation window is displayed.
Select the [OK] button if it is OK to proceed.

A message indicating that the process is in progress is displayed and an attempt is made to
release all errors. A separate window (showing the progress of processing) displays the

number of drives to be recovered from errors and the number of drives that have been

recovered from errors.

Recovery is complete when an end message is displayed.

End of procedure

•

Cabinets without drive hardware errors cannot be selected from the drop-down list.

•

The drop-down list is not displayed when only a single base cabinet is used.
