Hard disk indicator
The indicator lights up when the device’s hard disk is accessed.

In energy-saving mode, the device must not be switched off with the main power switch
(if present) or disconnected from the mains, as this may result in data loss.
•
The indicator is green: the device is on.
•
Indicator lights up orange or
fl
ashes green (depending on the type of device): Device is in
power-saving mode. After being switched on with the On/Off switch, the device switches
on or returns to the state it was in before it went into power-saving mode.
•
The indicator is not illuminated: The device is switched off (power switch set to 0 or disconnected
from the mains) or ready. If the device is ready it can be switched on with the ON/OFF switch.

oppy disk drive is accessed. You may
only remove the

oppy disk when the indicator is not on.

The indicator lights up when the CD-ROM or DVD drive is accessed. You may
only remove the DVD when the indicator is dark.
