Firmware update

During the

rmware update, the power and network connections must not be

disconnected. Never switch the NAS off during the

rmware update.

If the system is running properly, then there is no need to update the

rmware.

Before updating the system

rmware, make sure the product model and

rmware version

are correct. Follow the steps below to update

rmware:

Read the “Release Notes” for this

rmware version on the website

"http://www.fujitsu.com/fts/support"

to check if it is necessary to update the

rmware.

►

Before updating the system

rmware, back up all data stored on the hard disk to

avoid any data being lost during the system update.

►

Open the administration interface and select

Control Panel

Firmware Update

►

Click on

Browse...

to select the new

rmware to update the system.

►

Select the corresponding IMG

le and click on

Update system

to update the

rmware.

The system update may take tens of seconds to several minutes to complete
depending on the network connection status. Please be patient. The system
will inform you when system update is completed.
